Content Policy

MoCo Report – Content Policy

The success of the MoCo Report relies heavily on the quality of the information being delivered through blog posts (“contributed content”) and comments by readers.

Contributors
Not all site visitors are automatically contributors. You may be required to establish an account and will need permission from the Publisher or Editor. If you wish to contribute content on a regular basis, please make your request in writing to the Publisher or Editor.

Commenters
You must have an established account with a network interoperable with Blogger® in order to post comments on contributed content.

Those posting content, whether as a contributor or commenter, are expected to adhere to the guidelines established henceforth:

Content Guidelines

1. May not make more than 1 post per day on the same issue.
2. Must pertain to issues local to Montgomery County, Texas, Southeast Texas, and the communities therein.
3. May pertain to state or national issues to the extent that they have a significant and specific effect on the local community.
4. May not contain anything unlawful, threatening, defamatory, libelous, obscene, pornographic or other material that would violate the law.
5. May not contain anything directed at any one individual or group of individuals that is perceived as belligerent, quarrelsome, argumentative, or cantankerous.

The Publisher and Editor reserve the right to delete any content that is deemed as not complying with the guidelines established herein or as not being consistent with the general purpose of this blog.
