Right-wing zealot and State Board of Education District 8 Member Barbara Cargill (R-The Woodlands) took to the national stage this week in an interview with NPR. Unsurprisingly, she effectively made Texas and the people who voted for her look stupid. How can someone who embodies the politicization of the classroom have such a problem with it? Someone abolish the SBOE already.
